Type 316L presents excellent weldability and formability characteristics. You can easily cold work this austenitic stainless steel using conventional tools. Type 310/310S Stainless Steel is often used in furnace parts, oil burner parts, carburizing boxes, heat exchangers, kilns, radiant tubes, etc where the operating temperature is up to 1150°C.
