The nickel alloy butt weld fittings are widely used in diverse industries. Designed to conform to various rds, these fittings are available in a variety of grades, including UNS 2200 and UNS 22201. Other common grades include ASTM A 234 and UNS 2201, Monel 400 and Alloy 20/20, UNS 6401, and UNS 6625. UNS 4400 (MONEL 400 ) is another alloy that has good electrical and magnetic properties.
Prefabricated spools are a better option than site fabrication for many reasons. For one, they are easier to control quality parameters, reducing the amount of rework needed at the site. Second, they save money by eliminating the need to purchase individual parts for each application. Third, they are easier to test and QC if manufactured off-site, which eliminates the need to invest in testing equipment.
